    This is not correct. William W. Hoover, Jr. 33288637 was not killed on D day.He was Honorably Discharged on Nov. 12, 1945. The death listed here is for a William W. Hoover, Jr. 33137096. Note the difference in service numbers. William and I were married in 1949 and he died in 1994. Anne Hoover, his widow
