Our thanks to the Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 1708 for honoring our Uncle for his service in Dibrill's 8th Tennessee Calvary, Company E, CSA (also know as Gore's 13th TN Cav,). Manchester was a prisoner of war at Rock Island Prison from Jan 1864 - March 1865.... and ended his life as a sheep rancher in Flagstaff, AZ.
