    Actually, this photo was not shot while flying the Zuiderzee (pronounce: 'Soidersay'), but 12.5mi west of it, roughly over the village of Oudersluis. In the lower right corner are the merged villages of Kleine Sluis/Anna Palowna and their bridge. The island in the distance is the island of Texel, and the city on this side of the narrows is the naval port of Den Helder. A railroad can be followed ...more
