Captain of Company G, 11th Georgia Infantry. Elected to Captain July 3rd, 1861. Slightly Wounded at 2nd Manassas, VA August 30, 1862. Wounded again at the Battle of Wilderness, May 6, 1864. Reassigned to the Invalid Corps Oct 19, 1864.

John Ozanne will go on to serve in the 154th TN Infantry, rising to the rank of Lieutenant, but being detached in 1864 to command the sharpshooters of Cheatham's Division.

John W. Carroll will enlist in the 27th TN Infantry in 1861, he will rise to the rank of Captain, being wounded in the Battle of Perryville, Kentucky in October of 1863. After recovering from his wound he will be elected as Captain in the 21st Tennessee Cavalry.
