John T. Faught was born in 1882, perhaps in Anniston, Alabama. The Faught family moved to northern Texas by the early 1890's Lee Faught was born on July 28, 1884 in Alabama. Benjamin Huston Spotts was a grandson of William Lyons Spotts and Martha Jane Huston. Benjamin's father, John William, married Harriett Aken/Akin in Kansas City, Missouri on May 9, 1858. There were 3 children: Virginia (b. May 30, 1859), Benjamin Huston (b. May 12, 1861), and Mary Frances (b. 1864). John and his family left the Kansas City/Westport area of Jackson County during the Civil War. ...more
