About JMMcD
I've been researching family history since 1996. I enjoy history & archaeology, but in April 2009 I started writing a novel about the road not taken. I'm shopping it (3/26/11) and working on a sequel and a sci-fi story.

Thank you, Evangelic, for the very kind words. I have thought the same thing about writing a family history book - and it's never gotten done. Hi bonddeedee618 - Thank you for your very nice comment. It is a very difficult area for genealogical research. I'm trying to learn a little Serbian, and someday I'd love to go to Montenegro and Serbia to see where my grandfather and mother were born. I'm hoping some distant relations will find the site so we can reconnect the families. Best wishes for your research, too.

Dan Pejovich was listed in the 1930 census in Detroit, Michigan. He was 34, divorced, and working as a manager at a chain grocery. He was a veteran of World War I.
