Henry Scarbrough

I remember as a young lad, between the ages of 6 to 10, My father would take us to the nursing homes that Henry stayed in during his late life to visit him. When he held my sister and brother as babies, I remember how happy he was. Henry didn't talk much because he couldn't hear. However, you could tell how happy he was to see the family. His was the first funeral that I attended, and remember touching his hand at it feeling so cold. It was the first time I really experienced the death of somebody I knew. According to Jack, Henry was a very hard worker and very strict with his children. He loved working on the farm.
