Well Miss Kayla.. you have been with us throughout the planning, and Carrie's big day is right around the corner. Your family is having the neatest party in your memory on Friday night. I will be there after Carrie and Dave's rehearsal dinner... Carrie is having a yellow rose at her guest book in your memory. Just know that you are here with us. Sure do miss you!! Can't believe it has been almost a year since your accident. I miss you so darn much. Love you sweet Kayla Rose. And miss you like crazy.

Dreamt about you again last night - also dreamt about Danny, my Mom, and Joe, and my Uncle Bud. You didn't get to meet them when you were here on earth, but I have a feeling you have all met up there... I know my Mom must love you. I had to work this morning, so I'm just starting my "Saturday Cleaning". I always wear my ipod while I clean.. it helps me get through the "fun" of cleaning.. first song on the ipod today - "When i get where I'm going" - just one of the MANY songs that make me think of you. Miss you!! TONS!

Today is "Dress Day" for Carrie. Her wedding dress is in, and she is going to try it on. Wish you were here - you would love this day. One thing for sure, you will be with us in our hearts <3 you always are. I miss you Kayla Rose

I still remember you telling me when I won my trip to Cancun that you thought Carrie should be the one that got to come with me. I think I still have that message saved in facebook. Well... Carrie and I are leaving tomorrow for our week in Cancun. Believe me, you'll be there with us. <3 you Kayla Rose. There's very little I do that you aren't right beside me. You saying Carrie should be the one to come with me is just one more example of how unselfish you always were.

I remember her silliness the most! And her horrible luck with fish! She was a ray of sunshine to everyone who knew her! I know i must let go...its just so hard! Its hard to believe that you are gone...but you will always be in my heart! I love you Kayla Rose...you will NEVER be forgotten!!

Everything I do, see, hear and say reminds me of Kayla Rose. Today, I saw a huge cloud in the shape of a lion. It made me think Kayla was sitting on top of that cloud watching all of us. She will live in our hearts forever. Miss you Kayla Rose. ?
