William C. Hinton married Josie Belle Daniel. She was died before the 1930 census. This is known because he is listed as a widower and living in the household of his father, William H. Hinton, age 70 who was the owner of a farm and actively farmed with his son, Herbert T age 39. William C, age 35 was listed as a laborer in Highway Construction. Father, Herbert T Hinton is listed as a white man, born in Tennessee. He lists his parents as born in Tennessee. This would make him born in 1860/ before civil war. He lists his parents as born in TN also. Both Herbert T and William C Hinton, brothers, are listed as mixed blood Cherokee. Josie Belle Daniel was my mother's oldest sister and was a daughter of Ross and Ida Daniel.
