Tia maggie drops us off at the entrance to the hospital, me in your tummy. We've arrived - you'll be alone for the birth. The nurses take us into the maternity ward. As your labor advances the nurses keep giving you more and more pain medicine...even though you are feeling No pain. "oh" they say "your in a lot of pain"..."no I'm OK" but they ignore you and keep giving you more medication.... by the time I come into the world you're REALLY feeling no pain! When you see me & you say "isn't she beautiful !"..I've heard this story a million times, but how I wish I could hear it just one more time, while in your arms... from your lips..
