SIMON - Jo Ann, age 71, joined her loved ones in Heaven on July 3, 2009. She was born on May 29, 1938, in Marston, MO. Jo Ann graduated from Central High School in 1957. She retired as an officer from Peoples State Bank after 26 years of loyal service. Jo Ann loved spending time with her family and reminiscing about old times. Floating Current River was one of her fondest memories. She was a beautiful person inside and out, always having a kind word and was eager to come to the defense of others. Jo Ann will always be loved and missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Pernie Clark. Jo Ann is survived by her son: Tim Simon of Republic, MO.; brother and sister-in-law: Steve and Georgia Clark of Grove, OK and many cousins. Jo Ann and I became fast friends from the moment Jerry and I moved to the lake. She was a very nice and loving person who I miss very much. This little part of the lake just hasn't been the same without her. Jo Ann I hope you are at peace now. Love you!
