Joseph Evatt, jr. of Easley SC,j.Samuel Evatt of Taylors,Tarnie renae Casey of Warner Robbins,Ga,Robert Timothy Forbes of Biloxi,Miss,philip a. evatt of Greer sSC .Andrew W.Forbes of Tampa FL,and Helen Elizabeth Evatt of Alexandria Va,she also has four great-grandsons,and eight great-grandaughters,she was predeceased by infant aughter,Mary Ellen,and infant sister,and sister,Josie Mae Hall Craigo.

this is her daughters words and i agree,     mama was such an unselfish,compassionate person.it was quiet commom for her to see a handicapped person,stop and give them money,offer a ride or whatever else might be needed,over the years she[adopted] several eldery people,transported them to doctor appointments,cancer treatments,grocery shopping,many times to a restaurant for a meal,she also cared for many ill,this in spite of the fact that she was handicapped, by arthritic and many health problems,,she even refused to park in handicapped spaces thinking someone else might need the space more than she.GOD ONLY KNOWS THE GOOD THAT MAMA HAS DONE OVER THE YEARS FOR HER IMMEDIATE FAMILY,EXTENDED FAMILY,THE COMMUNITY,CHURCH,NATIONALLY,AND STRANGERS ON THE STREET,   ON MAY 12 1950 MAMA WAS INVOLVED IN A TERRIBLE HEAD-ON COLLISION WHICH LEFT HER WITH SCARS AND DEFORMED LIMBS,SHE WAS BADLY INJURED AND NOT EXPECTED TO LIVE,HER CUTS WERE SEWN UP AND SHE WAS GIVEN TWENTY-TWO PINTS OF BLOOD,SHE HAD SURGERY TO PUT PINS IN HER LEGS,PUT IN TRACTION SHE SPENT EIGHT WEEKS TWO DAYS IN HOSPITAL AND ANOTHER THREE MONTHS IN BODY CAST,I GIVE GOD THANKS FOR THE FIFTY-NINE YEARS AND THREE DAYS THAT HER WAS SPARED TO NURTURE AND LOVE HER[ LITTLE GIRLS] AS NANCY AND I WERE STILL AFFETIONATELY ALLED,WHETHER SHE WAS KNOWN AS HELEN,MAMA,OTHER MAMA,POLLY,SHE WAS SPECIAL TO ALL OF US AND INDELIBLY INSCRIBED UPON OUR HEARTS.SHE IS BURRIED AT NINE FORKS BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY,MEMORIALS WERE MADE TO SHRINERS CHILDREN HOSPITAL AT 950 WEST FARIS RD GREENVILLE SC ZIP 29605,,,,HER FAVORITE QUOTE WAS    [TOMORROW HAS COME AND TRULY A BETTER DAY HAS DAWNED,FOR HER.
