Two more things come to mind:
1) A clue to my family members and ancestors is the Theophilus
middle name.

2) I think I have tons of relatives in the Darlington area? or is it
Darliston? especially Powells.

for something for someone else) and I found something of interest to
you two.

I found the note I made of the baptism of Alfred Theophilus

Brooks… your great grandfather!

He was born 3 Sep 1861, baptized 11 Dec 1861, at Darlington. His

parents; George Brooks and wife Felicia.

When next at the library, I will get a copy of the actual record
