Felix apparently had a son, Adolfo Aros by one Mercedes Canales.  (baptized in Forest Hill, 15 Jun 1862).  Possibly also a daughter, Bartola in 1860.  No other documents on Felix.  Why do they think Adolph was illegitimate?  The baptism record extract doesn't say so.  It does give the mother's maiden name, however that was typical of hispanics. who go by both parents' surnames.  Something to think about.
