Some info re: some LEWIS and some HANDIBOE'S/HANDEBO'S, the original HANDIBOE'S/HANDEBO'S came from IRELAND. The first HANDIBOE'S to arrive in US, were James & Mary WALSH-HANDIBOE, who settled-first STATE, Columbus, OHIO. The LEWIS' dealing with here were mostly VA/DC/MD/NC/NY and elsewhere, which include some CONFEDERATES.

I will include some census for George W. LEWIS, and have a picture. the picture is from the book his brother wrote, one of his brother's was John H. (HENRY) LEWIS, who wrote a GREAT book about the civil war-US, called "Recollections from 1860 to 1865"-published in Washington DC, late 1800's.
Martha WHITE-LEWIS, died March 1880.
