His surname is actually Badstuber. He was born Franz Xaver Badstuber (Frank Xavier Badstuber) in Immenried, Wurttemberg, Germany on 25 Feb 1876. He is the brother of Frank Joseph Badstuber and Max Badstuber, both of Cleveland, Ohio. He arrived in the US along with brother Frank Joseph in 1893. He died on 28 Jan 1951 and is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio.
