Confederate: Private /Private Enlisted on May 17th 1861 at Nashville TN. by Col Scudder for 12 mts. Captured at Raymond MS May the 12th 1863. T.B. Hilton's name appears as signature to an Oath of Allegiance to the United States, subscribed and sworn before William H. Bracken, 1st Lieut and Asst. Pro. Mar.Gen'l Departmen of the Cumberland at Nashville TN May 12th 1865. Place of Residence Wayne Co. TN Complexion: Fair Hair: light eyes: Hazel Height: 5'8" Were surrendered : Alanta Ga. May 6 1865. Subscribed to Oath May 12 1865.
