This is William Beighley (1787-1868) who was the youngest son of Conrad Beighley. He moved to Tiffin County from Butler County, PA after the death of his wife. The "Synthian" and children listed here may be the family of either Daniel or Lafayette Beighley. Little is known about these two men. Lafayette was supposed to have died in Fort Wayne, Indiana. There is an "L. Beighlea" buried in old section Row 20 of the Stone Church (Zion English Lutheran, Lancaster Twnshp. Butler Co., PA). Venango County, PA members of this family (Jospeh and John William) also spelled their name "Beighlea".
