Hannah Lewis Glover Carlisle, born 22 April 1823 in Phelps, Ontario, NY; daughter of David Glover and Tamerson (Tamesin) Hall. Hannah was the 2nd wife of Daniel Carlisle, having married him after her sister's death. Hannah served as a nurse during the Civil War and later as a teacher with the Freedmen's Bureau.
