I realized that in the first comment it sounded as though we married each other. That was not the case, though some had thought it might be. Johnny found his bride elsewhere, and I married a sailor before I graduated from high school.

I lived next door to Johnny before we married and before he went off to war. We shared some grand times together along with his brothers, Jimmy and Ray. I still think of him and wonder where he might be today, had he made it home. He'd probably be in Iraq. I always wanted to see his name on the wall, but never had before. Thanks for making it available for those of us who may never travel to Washington, or never get to find the people we knew on the wall.
