I went to school with this airman's sister. We were all so upset and sad when he went missing. A terrible loss for his family and community. He is nit forgotten.

Hello. I have been wearing a replica MIA braclet since the late '90s. It is for this gentleman. It reads as follows: MAJ GEORGE H JOURDENAIS [line break] USAF 4-1-67 SVN. Then around the band where the opening is it has RI. I've been wearing this for so many years now (over half of my life!), and it has become a part of my arm. I often wonder about the surviving family. I'm glad that he has someone that knew him to remember him, and not just me, a stranger. -Julie

My dad, who I lost 40 years ago yesterday. We didn't know each other well. I was young, and he was a fighter pilot, doing what fighter pilots do. But, he has influenced me over the last 40 years as if he were still here. I still miss him.

My condolences to you and your family. I lost my cousin in Vietnam and remember vividly the day the soldiers came to say he had died. Years may pass but memories live forever.

George was my father. He was lost when I was 6. I still miss him. My son, now 13, is named George M. Jourdenais, after his grandfather. I am glad to say that I am proud of both of my Georges. - Steve
