Bruce Norman Colson

Bruce was at Camp Pendleton before he went to Viet Nam. He called my mom and dad in Redondo Beach CA and showed up for a visit. My girl firend told her girlfriend Chris Lytton of Hermosa Beach about Bruce and we all agreed to go to Disneyland. We were in my girlfriends 1956 Buick, a huge car by today's standards. We got a flat on the freeway going to Disneyland. We had a spare but no jack. We used a road side telephone and called for help. Bruce had an Auto Club card and the flat was changed on the spot. Bruce saved the day! We all had a good time at Disneyland. I remember that we left late at night. The next morning he returned to Camp Pendleton. A few weeks later we learned that he had been killed.
