Jimmy Russell Lipe

Jimmy and I went to school together,4th thru the 10th I quit to go in the Army. I never heard nor saw Jimmy again. I did 3 tours in Nam. When I came home in November '69 some one told me of Jimmy. Hardly a day goes by now with out thinking of him. Today is the 1st time I have been able to even write anything about him. I think Jimmy is in Heaven. He's waiting on all who will make it to Heaven. jimmy ,i miss you and think of you more than often.altho you were in my life for such a short time ,i loved you from day one,and so did karen.she grew into a fine christian woman.i remember you and her coming by to see me the day before you left for vietnam.you were so excited to go serve your country ,but hating to leave the love of your life,your real soulmate..my baby girl was born the day of your funeral,but your spirit was with me in the hospital.i saw you in the doorway. thank you for coming to see her.i told her about yours and karen's love when she got old enought to understand.i'm sorry you had to leave us all ,but i guess God needed another angel soldier to guard his throne.I shall see you there....
