Al Levesque says she didn't speak French and he doesn't know if she spoke German but he thought of her as German. She was called "Feeny" by her friends. Her friends went to seances and she took Al to a few of them. He says she suffered from "brash" disease which he believes was heartburn or acid reflux.

Louapre, Jr., United States Army, Lieutenant Alston Levesque, United States Army, Gaston Levesque, United States Coast Guard, Cadet Wesley Levesque, United States Merchant Marine, and Shirley Levesque. Relatives and friends of the family also officers and members of the New Orleans Police Mutual Benevolent Association, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the P.J. According to Melba Cortes, Josephine's niece, Margaret Hudson, was Melba's grandmother and Elvira's mother.
