James HANDIBOE, had married his wife a Mary WALSH, and came to America, via CANADA, he built canals along the way and settled in Columbus, OHIO.

1808-1858 | Offlay Co., IRELAND, CANADA, Columbus, OHIO
James married a Mary WALSH, in IRELAND, before coming into the US, via CANADA, he built canals from Canada to the US. He settled in Columbus, OHIO- a pre-potato famine IRISH. Much of the tracing of the family HANDIBOE'S roots, in the beginning as regards to the first one's in America, came from a Sister Margaret HOFFMAN, OSF, who lives or did live in OHIO.
