Dennis Lee Tackett

Dennis served on the U.S.S. O'Bannon DDE 450 a WWll Destroyer as a radarman. He saw a missile fired from California to a remote island. He was 150 miles from ground zero when the one megaton hydrogen bomb exploded. He said the sight was forever in his memory. And he hopes we will never see a real bomb hit the US.
