Searching for Rayfield "Buddy" Watkins & Family

| Chicago, IL

Greetings,

I am seeking to find my Choctaw family on my fathers side; his Mother's name was Mary; his father's name was Andrew they had 8 children, my father Rayfield (or Raphael) was the baby and he was lovingly called "Buddie."  As far as I know, hisi mother, my grandma died when he was born (this would have been 1921 or 1922); Daddy said his father died when he was about 15 or sixteen and his sister Cora raised the childrew after that; they had moved to Laurel after the depression started.  My father,  Buddy had two brothers, Cefus and Will; they built houses together sometimes and uncle Cefus was a shoemaker and a quiet man, whom I loved like a father.  Dad married a woman of African descent named Claiece Watkins; mom's mothers name was Ethel and her father was, Willie Heard;  he had a farm somewhere near Heidleberg if recall correctly.  Daddy's father, Andew owned over 300 acres of land in Newton County.  Daddy told me that he use to go to the Green Silk dance in Decatur when he went around his mother's people; I understand that Mr. Rayfield Watkins of RH Watkins High School may be my great grand father; I sure would like to know if this is true for I think blood is important; I feel as if I have a hole in my heart because I am disconnected from people in my family bloodline that I need to know; I believe they would be happy to know me to.  Please respond to me at mysticblackwoman@sbcglobal.net

The Conquering Lion of Judah: When I first received a copy the book Dad told me about that included a picture of a decapitated Ethiopian soldier being held by a fascist soldier, the book he said I would never see because it was out of print, I called Dad and said, "Dad...dy, I've got something that I want to show you." He said, "come on over..." and I did, when I got there, as soon as he opened the door, I held up the book, Italy's War Crimes in Ethiopia" which was given to me as a gift by Professor Richard Pankhurst whose mother wrote the book that Dad thought we would never see. When Dad saw the cover...he sat down slowly and said "I've waited my whole life to see this book..."

My Father Believed in H.I.M. Emperor Haile Selassie I, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of Judah: The Elect of God, and...so do I.

When I first learned about Mussolini's systematic mass-extermination campaign in Ethiopia from 1935-1941, that was carried out with poison gas, I was about two years old and heard Dad talking about it to his brother, my uncle Cefus...they use to sit in the backyard on war nights roasting peanuts and drinking black coffee talking about their experiences in World War II...and afterwards...they would alwats talk about HIM (His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie I)...mainly because of his prophecies from 1935-1941 that all came true, and also because he is a descendant, by blood of ancient pharoahs and biblical kings such as King David, King Solomon, Queen Saba and The Annointed One "Jesus the Christ" or Yesus Christos....I learned a lot from Dad...and though I was quite young...over 60 years later I was able to confirm everything my dad told me.

Dad was very quiet; he loved Emperor Haile Selassie I and taught me everything I k now about HIM from an early age; dad and his brothers, Cefus and Will, built houses, were master car repair mechanics and they also made and repaired shoes. I was Dad's first born; I think he wanted a boy because they nameed me "Bobbie Ray"...and taught me to hunt and fish. When he built houses, I was there. When he went fishing and hunting I was there. He and Mom, Clairece Heard, were married for about 50 years until she died and he missed her greatly. He taught us how to take life like soldier...he always told me to "be a good soldier". When you fall...get up and try it again...when you're hurt, don't cry...take it like a good soldier...and thats how I live life today...I miss dad and the conversations we had about His Majesty...I wish he was with me when I visited Ethiopia...he would have loved it very much.

My Daddy taught me that Ethiopia is the Garden of Eden in the Bible, Genesis 2:13, and Emperor Haile Selassie I inherited King David's Throne on November 2, 1930, which I proved he did in 1930 local, national and international newspapers and magazines; Dad taught me that Emperor Haile Selassie was Christ in His Second Advent and Christ in His Kingly Character...my father was not the only one who felt this way...there were millions more throughout the African Diaspora (1935-1941, i.e. "The Black Peril and the Italian Ethiopian War".); the events during those years sparked the largest global mass mobilization movent in history and was known as "The Ethiopian Movement". Well known African-American ministers, politicians, and civic leaders all supported the Ethiopian cause during that terrible time when Benito Mussolini extermination the Ethiopian people with poisonous gas sprayed from airplanes and other horrific atrocities that claimed the lives of no less than one million Ethiopian men, women and children; the Ras Tafarian movement was born during what was called "prophetic times". My father peaked my interested, spiritually, and I promised myself when I grew up and learn to read I would learn everything I could about the ancient land of Ethiopia and Emperor Haile Selassie I, the 225th King of of Kings Lord of Lords to inherit King David's Throne and by the Grace of Almighty God, I did. Dad inspired a longing to learn Truth and I developed an insaitable spiritual thirst for the truth about the ancient land of Ethiopia once known as Kush and her prople, our people. It has taken over 30 years; Dad and Uncle Cefus have passed on, but Dady's love of HIM has been transferred to me and I am inspired to carry on both my Heavely Father as well as my earthly Fathers work...to teach people the truth about ancient Kush (Ethiopia). Amasegnewaleu, Woletta Selassie Haile Selassie otherise known as Imani-Kaly Nyah ...photo history work inprogress...

...his stories about Emperor Haile Selassie I, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords of Ethipoia; he, his brother and father were members of the Ethiopianist movement which grew internationally after Mussolini carried out his mass extermination campaign with poison gas an other horrific atrocities, the details of which have been striken from the annals of the world's history books. Dad taught me to listen to a different drummer; his way was more Native and also Uncle Cefus, his brother...
