BORDER ROGERS

Hobart, Kiowa, Oklahoma, USA

Border, my father, was not called into military service until the end of the war.  Although not participating in the military, he did do his part.  While at home, he continued to manage his own farm, plus the farm of his father-in-law John J Krieger, who had had a heart attack.  Plus, he helped his sister-in-law Helen Krieger McGuire during the abence of her husband.  You might say he "held down the fort".

He was the husband of Marjorye Krieger Rogers and the father to Judy Annette Rogers Askine and Jeanean Cheryl Rogers Beamer.

Border is buried at Oak Hill Memorial in Escondido, San Diego, California.
