Leslie G. Sieckmann, 83, Lincoln, died Monday (8/9/04) in Lincoln. Born, Tobias (10/13/20). Owner of L.G. Sieckmann Construction Co. Was an avid outdoorsman, had pilot's license and enjoyed flying in private plane. Active in farming and raising cattle. Past member, Trinity Lutheran Church. Attended University of Nebraska engineering program in Lincoln. Served, U.S. Army, World War II, Battle of the Bulge.

Survivors: daughters, sons-in-law, Donna Sieckmann and Neale Ainsfield, Vienna, Va., Carol and Tom Morin, Sioux City, Iowa; sisters-in-law, Lois Sieckmann, Spokane, Wash., Viola Banning, Lincoln; brother-in-law, Leonard Johnston, Titusville, Fla.; grandchildren, spouse, Andy and Sara Morin, Des Moines, Iowa, Kristin Morin, Katie Morin, Jon Morin, all of Sioux City, Natalia Ainsfielt, Vienna, Va.; eight nieces; nephews. Preceded in death by: parents; wife, Clara; brother, Everett; infant son, Robert.

Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, Wadlow Rozanek Colonial Chapel, 5200 R St. The Rev. Jerome Rossow, Trinity Lutheran Church. Lincoln Memorial Park, 6700 S. 14th St. Military graveside services: Fort Riley, Kan., honor guard. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. today, funeral home with family present.
