My grandfather was Paul Everett Freeze. He was born to Irvin Aden Freeze & Mable Rockey on Sep 19, 1921 in Troy, Miami, OH. Paul was the fifth born child of nine.

Paul married Fannie Edna Crider on Mar 14, 1941 in Dayton, OH. They had four children during their marriage. Paul & Fannie were married for over 60 years until the day of his passing on Apr 27, 2002 in Dayton, OH.

On Mar 26, 1943, Paul joined the United States Army and served as an electrician in The U.S. Army Air Corps. After his sevice, Paul worked for the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH for over twenty years.

Paul learned many trades at an early age through his family. He could do plumbing and electrical work, and he could build homes, which he did as side jobs for many years.

My grandfather lived through the Great Depression, served his country, and lost many loved ones along his journey. He did it all and always managed to keep a smile on his face. What i will remember about him most is his playful personality and his ability to persever. He is truley a man of strength.
