S.Sgt Harold JACK Flaugher,KIA 18 JUne'44 B-24

| Germany

458th Bomb Group (Heavy) 754th Bomb Squadron, B-24 H "Rhopsody in Jink" #41-28773 Lost on 18 June, 1944 over Newminster, Germany. This B-24 was out of an airfield, AAC 123 of the Mighty 8th Air Foprce in England.

Sgt Flaugher was a B-24 Top-Turret GUNNER that was KIA on 18 June, 1944 in the B-24 #41-28773 Over Germany.  The only Combat Crew member to die in a "Shot-down over Germany" Crew of 10 men.  The other 9 were taken as POW, to Stulag Luft III.

Harold was a Crew-member and Friend of Lt Thomas Jeffers, Bombardier, in the big B-24 Heavy Bomber.  Bomber Crew were a lot like family, some Mission routinely taking up to 14 hours.   I know that Harold is greatly missed by his family and freinds.  God Bless our brave men.
