Carmon was brother to Victor (born 1918), Darrel (born 1922) then Carmon in 1924

 Vickie's Dad was Victor Fay Thorp b. 3-8-1918  d. 9-4-2006

    Another Uncle was Darrell L. Thorp  b.  2-17-1922 d.12-17-2001     Carmon Carlton Thorp b. 10-19-1924 d. 7-9-1944   All were born in Bridgewater,Ohio.    Victor and Darrell did not talk much about Carmon. It was very hard on them. A week before he died Darrell sat under a tree with him. They promised if one died they would they bring the body back. It took a year but he is buried in Ohio. Carmon died on Normandy Beach, D-day Invasion.
