Walter; 

Walter was born in 12 July, 1917 in Maine, he entered the Service as a Private on 9 June, 1943.  Walter was residing in Somerset County and enlisted in Portland, Maine.  AUS - #31323133

Walter had completed college with a post-graduate degree and he was the High School Principal in his home town.  Walter was married and had a son Thomas, born in 1943.  

Walter was assigned to the AAC and graduated from Bombardier's School in Big Springs, Texas on 28 Oct. 1944, Class of 44-44-B.  Officer # 0-2-075-464.  He left for Combat on 5 April, 1945, arriving in the MTO on 14 April, 1945 and flew Combat with the 321st Bomb Group, 447th Bomb Squadron, B-25 Mitchells over the Po Valley, Italy, the Balkans and Central European Theatres until the war ended (VE Day).
