  My father enlisted in 1939 with the army national guard in New Mexico trained in the u.s until apr of 1944 then went to England for the preparation of the D- Day landings. Served with the 559th F.A. BN ( Battery B ) particepated in all major offences from Normandy Landing, ardeness, northen france, Central europe, and the Rhineland.
