Hellebore Flowers ...
Dear friends, Oct. 2012 every year at Recoaro the day January 9, when he was killed by the Nazis, is placed a bunch of "hellebore, before the memorial plaque of Lt. McAllister. The same flowers that someone placed among the window bars of the plain mortuary chapel (Germans were deeply irritated by this act)before the Officer was buried on January 11 1945 with no cerimony and no coffin by order of the Germans) Best wishes from Giuseppe Italy
