T/Sgt Gerald "Jerry" Rosenthal, Radio/Gunner, 310thBG and 340thBG

"Jerry" Rosenthal was born in Calif in 1923, he enlisted at Moffitt Field, CA while living at Santa Clara, on 16 Dec. 1941 and was accepted into the Army Air Corp.  He completed 4 years of high school and was still single.

      He became a Radio/Gunner in the B-25 Mitchell Medium Bomber, with the 57th Bomb Wing and served Combat Missions in both the 340th Bomb Group and the 310th Bomb Group.  He returned to the ZI (Zone of the Interior) Good Ole' USA, 4 July 1945 !  He was soon back at home in San Jose, Ca.
