Lt Andy Garrett was a B-25 Navigator with the 321st Bomb Group, the 447th Bomb Squadron (Emblem above) and flew across the Atlantic in the [now famous] Gen Bob Knapp Flight-Over, leaving Morrison Field, Fla. for the Southern Route, crossing the Atlantic in a single mass wothout loss.  Lt Garrett flew in the B-25 #41-3=13007, called the "007" and nose art of the HARP. with Lt Robert Richardson (Big Rich), Lt Curtis B Hasty, (Garrrett), Daniel O'Connell, Walter Cantrell and Russel E Murphy (The Kid) Murphy earned his Purple Heart on a Combat Mission in N Africa, he was 17 at the time !  50 COMBAT MISSIONS...
