Missing Over Germany Cleburne, Texas, March 23.-  Capt Gwen T. McPherson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. McPherson of Lubbock, formerly of Cleburne, has been missing over Germany since Feb. 24, according to word received here. Dallas Morning News -- Dallas, Dallas County, Texas -- March 24, 1945 -- Saturday. -- and -- Killed Over Germany Cleburne, Texas, May, 5. - Capt. Gwen McPherson, 24, was killed over Germany February 24, according to word received here by relatives.  He previously had been reported missing.  The pilot was the nephew of John A. James, Mrs. A. F. Gibson and Mrs V. Barr, all of Cleburne, and the son of Mr.and Mrs. W. A. McPherson, Lubbock.  His wife lives in Kansas City, Mo.
