He was inducted Nov 10, 1940 at Fort Benjamin Harrison, being sent then to Maxwell Field, Ala;

Selma, Ala; Fort Moltery, S.C.; Albrook Field, Panama Canal Zone; Galapagos Islands; Patterson Field, Dayton, O.; Mc Clellan Field, Calif., and New York. In Oct 1943, he was transferred to England, his last known location.
