Died in a plane crash (fatal landing accident) : Douglas C-53D-DO Skytrooper 42-68822 in Cambrai-Niergnies (France).

Buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, 4852 Hombourg (Belgium)

Selma, Ala; Fort Moltery, S.C.; Albrook Field, Panama Canal Zone; Galapagos Islands; Patterson Field, Dayton, O.; Mc Clellan Field, Calif., and New York. In Oct 1943, he was transferred to England, his last known location.
