5 Sept. 2010 From Bob Crouse;  ...... "  from the 15,000th sortie picture and I recognized the co-pilot, Hoyt  Payne, Jr.  We flew together a couple of times after the war and got together some at the University of Tennessee.  He and his sister helped us get an apartment when I enrolled there.  Hoyt went to work for his father after graduating and ended up owning and running his tool and die company.  We went on a cruise through the Panama Canal a few years ago and renewed old acquaintances.  Hoyt has since died. Bob abd Laverda Crouse.
