I.  Under the provisions of Army Regulations 600-445, 22 September 1943, as amended, and pursuant to authority contained in letter, Hq, Eighth Air Force, File 200.6, 1 Jne 1944, subject "Awards and Decorations", the DISTINGUISHED FLYING CROSS is awarded to the following-names Officers and Enlisted Men, for extraordinary achievement, as set forth in citation.

     GEORGE P. MCINTYRE,   O-806102, 1st Lieutenant, 510th Bombardment Squadron, 351st Bombardment Group (R), Army Air Forces, United States Army.  For extraordinary achievement while serving as Pilot of a B-17 airplane on a number of combat bombardment missions over Germany and German occupied territories.  Home Address:  Ailey, Georgia
