Lt Mallin arrived in the Mediterranean Theatre in May of 1944 and flew Combat into Jan. 1945 in the B-25 Mitchell Medium Bombers of the 321st Bomb Group, 448th bomb Squad out of Corsica, France.

All returned at 18:30. Entire N section of town reported well covered. 6 Me-109’s under formation at break-away did not attack. Heavy, scant, inaccurate flak from target. Weather CAVU. Escort area cover.
