Wm J Schneider, B-25 Pilot, 321st and 310th Bomb Group /WWII

IN the 57th Bomb Wing 1984 Membership Book, Wm is living in Hopewell, NJ.

William Schneider ( 12037928 ) resided in Hillsdale, Bergen County, NJ and enlisted at Newark, NJ on 3 Nov. 1941 as an Aviation Cadet in the Army Air Corps.  He was born in 1919 in Ohio, had completed 4 years of college, was white, citizen, working as an actor and was single at enlistment.   William was trained as a multi engine pilot and was assigned to the MTO (Mediterranean Theatre) with the 321st Bomb Group, 446th BS for about 14 of his Combat Missions/ Detatched Dervice out of Lybia "Gambit-Gambut" and then transferred to the 310th BG, 1st in the 379th BS and then the 380th BS to complete his Missions.  William was friends with Joe Brady, Pilot and they flew together but Joe was later killed in a training accident in S.C. on 15 Oct. '44. (see link under the map).
