James Edward Ennis (WW II Army Infantry, Africa) was born 28 May, 1920 to James P and Eva A (Hettman) Ennis, in Lambertville, NJ.  James was the eldest of their 7 children.

James E Ennis' Father, James Paul Ennis,(born 15 Jan. 1897, the eldest of 9)  was the brother to Edward C Ennis (1914-2005, the youngest of the 9)
