Stories

This was my grandfather who is sadly deseased now but is still well with us in our memories. He joined because he said everyone went and it was just something he had to do. He said he decided to join the Army Air Corps because he was told they were the branch that fed you the best meals. He served his time but was severly wounded by shrapnel to his leg and head one mission. He was hospitalized for a long period of time but made it out alive in the end and happily lived his life out in Canton, Massachusetts until his death when I was 7
