310th BG, 428th BS, Lt Eric W Johnson, B-25 Combat Pilot

310th Bomb Group, 429th Bomb Squad, Lt Eric Johnson was a B-25 Combat Pilot in the Mediterranean Theatre in the B-25 Mitchell Medium Bomber;

 Eric W Johnson joined the US Army, Medical Administrative Corp in Boston, Mass. on 26 Jan. 1942.  He was accepted directly into the Army Air Corp as an Aviation Cadet.  Eric was residing in Brockton, Plymouth County, Massachusetts and had completed one year of college, was working as a sales clerk.     He was born in Mass. in 1918 and Eric was still single at enlistment.

** 12 Feb. 2014, Daughter-in-law Janice Grant Johnson joined the 57th BW Face Book; *** Thanks for allowing us to join. Here is a picture of my father-in-law, Eric Walter Johnson, who was born in Brockton, Mass. He was a pilot instructor of B-25's at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. He was later stationed in Corsica and flew many missions.    ***************************************************************************************************

1st Mention in the 428th War-Diary of Lt Johnson is on 22 January, 1945 out of Corsica,  ( Johnson, Eric Walter, 2Lt, pilot (0-795756 - 429th BS )
