Mary Nebenfuhr Karney

Mary (Maria) arrived in the United State at Ellis Island, New York, on June 29, 1910.  She was accompanied by her mother, Anna Feit Nebenfuhr, and siblings Francis (Franjo), Anna, Rose (Rozalia).  She arrived aboard the Carpathia which had departed from Fiume.  Mary was 2 years old at the time.  Her father Michael (Mio) and siblings Joseph (Josip) and Elizabeth (Liza) were already living in the United States.  Michael and Joseph had arrived in 1907 and Elizabeth in 1909.

Michael and Anna had two more children, born in New Jersey:  Michael and Eva.
