Elizabeth (Liza) Nebenfuhr arrived at Ellis Island on February 14, 1909, aboard the Caronia which had departed from Fiume, Italy. She was 14 years old. She joined her father Michael (Mio) and brother Joseph (Josip) who had arrived in 1907.
Elizabeth's mother, Anna, arrived in 1910 accompanied by Elizabeth's siblings Frank (Franjo), Rose (Rozalia), Anna, and Mary (Maria).
Michael and Anna had two more children, born in New Jersey: Michael and Eva.
