I live in Cleveland ,Ohio and try to visit as often as I could., but when he was very ill ,he loved to work puzzles in a book. The circle ones. I started sending him and his wife Emma books every couple of months and he loved that . when he did all the puzzles he would tell the family that Mary should be sending him a pkg. His wife liked the regular books so I always got her them. They were both ill and did not get out too often ,so when I went to see them I always took them a gift and ate lunch with them .. I loved doing that . Those are memories that i will always have . More to come later .

MY GRANDPA LOVED TO TALK ABOUT WHAT HE DID TO RAISE HIS FAMILY WE ALWAYS TOOK WALKS WITH ME HE LOVED TO BE WITH HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS HE WAS ONE PERSON GOT ALONG WITH EVERYONE  I ALWAYS LOVED TO TALK ABOUT OLD DAYS
