According to Allen's draft record he had a decided "limp" than-WWI. according to my father, Howard Irving LEWIS, his nephew, and son of one of his sister's, who was Margaret Estella LARMAN-LEWIS-LAWLOR 01/1900-07/1977 b. DC.
According to my 90 year old father, Allen or "Buddy", I think they use to call him had a limp so bad, that he, my father wasn't sure if part of one of his legs was actually missing. Also, according to his WWI draft regristration, he didn't mention a wife, just his mother Susie BALLENGER-LARMAN-FOSTER.
